My Heart

From the first time I went there I just knew I belonged in San Francisco. San Francisco just calls to me at times. It is a place where I know it doesn't matter how outlandish my outfit is or how crazy my headbands are, I just fit in. In the city you have everything at your fingertips. I know LA also does but somehow for me it just does not compare.

I remember wandering around in little Italy late one night and seeing Jack Kerouac street and just smiling to myself, thinking only in San Francisco. Or visiting my favorite pub Lefty O'Douls and having the piano man sing with patrons sitting around him singing Billy Joel's piano man. It is truly only something you imagine in movies.

Don't even get me started on the amazing houses. To live in the city in a house like Stephanie Tanner would be the ultimate.

Grad School in SF is looking like a must at this point

It is true what Tony Bennett says:

I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill it calls to me
To be where cable cars climb half way to the stars
The morning fog may chill the air but I don't care
My love waits there in San Francisco
